The data collected during the project allowed the SMILE partners to prepare 170 successful and replicable practices for sustainable mobility.
The database contains good practices related to the following fields:
- Integrated Approach / Urban Transport Plans,
- Mobility Advice & Campaigns,
- Urban planning,
- Responsible car use / Mobility Plans,
- Public transport,
- Cycling,
- Walking / Pedestrians,
- Intermodality,
- Traffic calming / Living streets,
- Parking,
- Goods delivery.
The good practices have a common structure with the following items: summary description, title, initiator(s) and partners, objectives, duration, target group(s), financial aspects, obtained and/or expected results, future plans, useful information and contact.
The database is a tool for local authorities to:
- find in-depth information,
- exchange their experience and transfer their know-how,
in the field of Sustainable Urban Transport Policies and Initiatives.
