Local experiences database

The data collected during the project allowed the SMILE partners to prepare 170 successful and replicable practices for sustainable mobility.

The database contains good practices related to the following fields:
  • Integrated Approach / Urban Transport Plans,
  • Mobility Advice & Campaigns,
  • Urban planning,
  • Responsible car use / Mobility Plans,
  • Public transport,
  • Cycling,
  • Walking / Pedestrians,
  • Intermodality,
  • Traffic calming / Living streets,
  • Parking,
  • Goods delivery.

The good practices have a common structure with the following items: summary description, title, initiator(s) and partners, objectives, duration, target group(s), financial aspects, obtained and/or expected results, future plans, useful information and contact.

The database is a tool for local authorities to:
- find in-depth information,
- exchange their experience and transfer their know-how,
in the field of Sustainable Urban Transport Policies and Initiatives.
