The City of Berlin has visited Nottingham in the SMILE framework. These are their views:

"It was very interesting to learn something about the up-coming city Nottingham in the heart of the midlands. The Powerpoint-presentations of Chris Carter and Pat Armstrong (City of Nottingham) and Gary Smerdon-White (Greater Nottingham Transport Partnership) were brilliant and drew a bow from regional and urban transport planning to the Big Wheel campaign."

"We were really impressed that the City of Nottingham invests so much money in mediating its transport strategies and objectives to the residents by advertising with impressive brochures and information packs in a pleasing design."
